Start on WhatsApp · confirm package, ZIP, partners, and written agreement · then $500 deposit and $300/month

Today is day 63 of 354. This year's goats are already on the pasture.

what we lost

Your parents picked their Qurbani goat from the mandi (منڈی). They spent time with it. Knew its temperament. Felt the weight of the sacrifice.

Their American-raised children have never known that. Today the market offers two hollow options: donate to a faceless Qurbani overseas, or buy a mystery-grade animal from a butcher days before Eid. There is no service that brings back the relationship.

Your kids deserve what you had.

why ScapeGoats?

The goat gets blamed for nothing. We take responsibility for everything.

A scapegoat is what people use to avoid responsibility. We chose the name because our model is the opposite: one farm accountable for your family's Qurbani from Eid to Eid.

Care records, weekly updates, processing coordination, and the delivery plan all come back to us. The name starts the conversation. Our work earns the trust.

the solution

One family. One goat. One Eid-to-Eid journey.

The All-Inclusive plan coordinates everything from naming and raising your goat to processing and frozen delivery. The Washington Self-Harvest plan replaces processing and delivery with a customer-performed on-farm option governed by written operating rules.

Reserve & name your goat

We hand-select a premium Boer, Kiko, or Nubian-cross and assign it to your family. You give it a name. The bond starts on day one.

Watch it grow for a year

Weekly photos and videos, monthly live video calls, and farm visits for Washington families. Your children grow up with the animal, the way Qurbani was meant to be.

Receive your Qurbani

On Eid, the sacrifice is performed per Sunnah at the confirmed USDA-inspected facility. After the processor freezes and releases the order, it is sent by the safest practical tracked service for your ZIP code, with a journey book of your goat's year.

the 354-day journey

From a name on day one to documented fulfillment after processing

Every step is documented and shared with you. This is the relationship the ritual was always meant to have.

  1. Day 0

    Reserve & name your goat

We first confirm your package, ZIP code, cohort partners, and written agreement. After your $500 deposit, we assign a hand-selected Boer, Kiko, or Nubian-cross goat. You name it. Your family's Qurbani has a face and a name from the first day.

  2. Weeks 1–50

    Watch your goat grow

A photo-and-video update arrives every Friday. Once a month, hop on a live video call to see your goat in real time. Washington families can schedule up to two farm visits: bring the kids, feed your goat, take photos.

  3. Mid-year

    Full transparency

Vet records, vaccination logs, and growth tracking are shared with you. You see exactly how your animal is cared for: pasture-raised, no hormones, humanely handled.

  4. 30 days before Eid

    Choose your cuts

Your payments are complete by now; every plan finishes a month before Eid. All that's left is selecting your cut preference: ethnic (small stew-style pieces), standard (legs, shoulders, ribs, chops), or custom to your specifications.

  5. Eid morning

    The Qurbani

Your goat is transported to a USDA-inspected, halal-compliant facility. A trained zabiha slaughterman performs the sacrifice per Sunnah, with the name of Allah pronounced over the animal. Video documentation is available if you choose.

  6. After processor release

    Delivery & the journey book

After the processor has fully frozen and released your order, the meat is packed in an insulated cold chain and sent by the safest practical tracked service for your ZIP code, or made available for local pickup. Timing depends on processor release, weather, destination, and carrier availability. Your digital journey book documents the year for your family.

the meat itself

If goat meat ever made you wrinkle your nose, it wasn't the goat. It was how it was raised.

Most goat meat in America comes from animals raised for weight, not flavor. Ours is the opposite, and the difference isn't a marketing claim. It's biology.

Wethered early, so the smell never develops

The infamous 'goaty' smell comes almost entirely from mature intact males; it's hormonal. Every goat here is wethered young, around three months, right after weaning. The taint that keeps people away from goat meat simply never has the chance to exist.

Raised moving, not bulked

Our goats walk, climb, and browse across 16 acres every day. Penning them on heavy feed would add weight faster (most of it fat) and we refuse to do it. Working muscle, a natural pasture diet, and a calm, low-stress life produce cleaner flavor. That's not sentiment; it's meat science.

Premium Boer genetics

We raise Boer, Kiko, and Nubian-cross goats, the breeds the meat world considers the standard for flavor and quality, and we treat them like family for the one year they're with us.

You're not paying for a premium service wrapped around ordinary meat. The meat is the rarest part, from goats that lived the best year a goat can live.

nationwide, without the risky promise

Continental U.S. delivery is part of the service. Overnight is not the promise.

Frozen meat logistics depend on the processor, destination, weather, and carrier capacity. We choose the safest practical tracked service for each family's ZIP code and confirm the plan before reservation.

Fully frozen before release

Dispatch begins only after the processor has finished, fully frozen, and released the order.

Insulated cold-chain packing

Vacuum-sealed cuts are packed for frozen transit using the validated coolant and container method for the route.

Tracked to your ZIP code

We select the practical tracked service for the destination and share the expected window and tracking details.

the religious foundation

Sacred is not a marketing word. We treat it that way.

Qurbani is an act of worship. Our All-Inclusive operating standard is sacrifice per Sunnah at a USDA-inspected facility with clear documentation. The people, facility, schedule, and customer remedy are named in the written agreement before payment.

Zabiha per Sunnah

Performed by a trained zabiha slaughterman, with the name of Allah pronounced over each animal. Every requirement of the Sunnah, every time.

USDA-inspected facility

Slaughter and processing at a federally-inspected, halal-compliant facility, required for interstate shipping.

Documented openly

Halal-process documentation is provided, with video available by request. We are seeking independent religious review, but we claim no adviser, affiliation, or endorsement unless it is signed and authorized for publication.

Reserving takes one message

Tell us your name and city on WhatsApp. We answer everything, confirm your package and serviceable ZIP, and provide the written reservation agreement. Only then do we send the secure $500 deposit link. After that it's $300/month as your goat grows, with monthly payments fully refundable up to 60 days before Eid. 13 goats in this year's herd are still available.

The things every family asks first

Because we're not selling the same product. Other services buy adult animals at auction days before Eid and process them quickly. We raise your goat for you for a full year on our Snohomish pastures, with weekly updates, monthly video calls, and farm visits.
